We are returning to a client’s home in the Lake Forest neighborhood of Ann Arbor
for our second remodeling project.
Watch as we transform the master bath and the guest bathroom.

This is a before photo looking into the master bathroom.
The new bath will be warm and tranquil.

This is the boy’s bathroom. We will be updating the look with new tile and plumbing fixtures.

The tub will be removed and replaced with a shower only.

Dust protection and floor protection are a key first step.

A debris chute minimizes the possibility of damage to the inside of the house during demolition.

Existing materials are removed.

After the spaces were cleared of old fixtures and materials, the rough plumbing is installed and connected.

Heating and plumbing have been located to fit in new cabinetry.

The new bathtub has an access panel. Tile should begin soon.

Mosaic tiles on the shower floor allows water to slope to the drain.
4x16 glazed ceramic tiles surround the shower walls.

3x6 glazed ceramic tiles that match the shower will surround the mirror over the vanity.

Vanity cabinets await the countertop installation.
They have been templated and are being fabricated.

April 13, 2016

The tub surround is tiled and ready for the quartz counter-top.

The wall tile is porcelain, imported from Italy.

Beauty comes from the attention to detail. These are the shower niches.

April 20, 2016

The counter-tops are checked for fit in the vanity alcove.

Under-mount sinks are secured to the quartz top.

Tile wainscoting can be finished now that the quartz counters and tub deck are installed.

We invited our salesperson from Feguson (plumbing supplies and more) out to see the fixtures they provided.

The particle board doors to the water closet and the linen closet were replaced with solid cherry doors, stained to match the cabinets.

Our friends from Washtenaw Glass were here to install the shower doors.
They look great!

The final touches are being made.

Rather than accent with colors, we let the tile pattern provide the interest.

Remember the red walls?... A slightly different look :-)

The bathrooms are finally done and photographed.
A master bath, a guest bath, and some photos of the powder room we did a while back.
Our clients rocked, we loved working with them again :-)
