Master Bathroom Remodel: Geddes
This project was completed in April 2010.
February 15, 2010
Here is the plan for the new master bathroom,
designed in collaboration with Jennifer Siegel.
We are altering the layout, and installing
all new fixtures and finishes.
This corner will be redone with new cabinets and fixtures . . .
. . . which can be seen in this elevation drawing.
The shower gets new tile and fixtures as well.
The tub will be replaced with a second sink
and a new storage cabinet. A new toilet will be
installed in the current location.
March 5, 2010
The space has been demoed back to studs,
and plumbing work has started.
Here, the subfloor was been removed so that
new sink plumbing could be installed.
March 18, 2010
New drywall has been hung, and the
tile floor installation has been started.
The shower tile has been installed, with an
alternating pattern of square and rectangular tiles.
March 31, 2010
Cabinet installation is proceeding.
On the other side of the room, the cabinets are already in.
April 7, 2010
After cabinets were finished, the countertop
and backsplash went in next.
Here, countertops are also installed,
as well as the vessel sink.
