From its inception in 1989, Rochman Design Build set out to be unique. Gary Rochman, Owner and Lead Designer, was first to introduce Ann Arbor to the design-build concept, breaking the barrier of separate architect and builder. His vision took hold, uniting the design and construction processes under one roof to create a company that provides high caliber residential remodeling services. 

Our passion is fueled by our love for creating beautiful spaces that reflect the way our clients live, and our unwavering commitment to building relationships that are founded on trust and integrity.  At Rochman Design Build, our goal is to continuously exceed our clients’ expectations with the service we provide and the way we provide it, from award-winning creativity and professionalism to the way we communicate with our clients, our colleagues and each other.

We approach every project with a talented team of architectural designers, project managers and carpenters on staff and under one roof—creating a seamless design-build experience for the homeowner, and bringing exceptional listening and communication skills to the table. Our holistic process streamlines the schedule, improves communication, and creates a single source of accountability; thus providing our clients with an ease of mind and bypassing the possibility of the homeowner playing referee between a separate architect and a builder.
