We are hiring an Estimator who will take full ownership of project estimating and purchasing, build clarity into every proposal and contract, and help guide our transition into a modernized estimating system. This is a high-impact role for someone who is detail-driven, experienced in residential construction, and eager to shape how our company estimates and buys into the future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce clear and accurate estimates, budgets, and project specifications.

  • Write project scopes of work and specifications in partnership with Sales and Design.

  • Conduct trade walk-throughs, solicit bids, and maintain strong trade and vendor relationships.

  • Prepare purchase orders, place material orders and receive materials.

  • Support smooth project execution through handoff meetings and weekly design huddles.

  • Improve estimating processes, organize pricing data, and further develop our JobTread system.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, though strong hands-on residential experience can/will substitute.

  • Strong knowledge of residential construction and how things are built

  • Advanced Excel proficiency required and familiarity with JobTread a plus.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and cross-department partnering skills.

  • Ability to navigate job sites, interpret residential plans, and understand nuances of working with older homes

  • Highly detailed, organized, accountable, and able to bring a solutions-focused mindset and a sense of humor.
